Alison's first cold...

It is true, Alison has her first cold. She doesn't seem to be too bothered by it though (at least not yet...) She is coughing and sneezing and rubbing her eyes. She sounds all congested too. So it is going to be an early night tonight. Daddy is reading her stories right now and we are going to have a quite, snuggly night...

A quiet night

No pictures tonight...Alison asked not to be photographed today...LOL

Anyway, she had a nice quiet night with her Mom and Dad. She discovered that she likes to lie on her back on the couch with her feet in the air and look around and play with her rattle (and by play, we mean shoving it into her mouth :) )--she also likes to chew on her blankets as well...can't imagine that they taste all that yummy!

But, she was on the couch for a couple of hours tonight, just happy to look around and discover the world around her. But, as all little ones do, she eventually got sleepy and Mom and Dad put her into bed, and as of 10:45 p.m. she's fast alseep.

Random Alison trivia: her new favorite book is "Pajama Time"--she especially likes to dance along to the line "Jamma, Jamma, Jamma, Jamma--PJ!!"

Daddy is also trying to get her interested in her Red Sox 101 book, and while she likes the pictures, she hasn't quite figured out who Ted Williams is--but she has plenty of time to learn!!!

Memorial Day

Well...Alison went to her first Memorial Day cookout today, and while she wasn't able to have a burger just yet, she reports that a good time was had by all...the end of a good weekend, she had lots of family and friends around, and she got a few steps closer to her goal of being the most photographed baby in Maine!!

Introducing Alison Erica

Alison knows that there are a lot of people out there in the big world who is very interested in her life, so she thought that we might do a blog. That way, everyone who wants to can keep up on all of the wonderful milestones that she is reaching every day! And see lots of pictures too. So here goes.

A couple of new, exciting activities that Alison is having:

May 18th - Alison giggles for the first time (mommy swears she heard it, but we have not heard it again since!)

May 19th - 3 month birthday!!!!!

May 22nd - Alison roles over on her side all by herself! Mommy and Daddy are very excited and proud. It is so cool to see her moving. We also realize that we now need to be very careful where we put her - she is no longer staying put!
